Green jobs

I’m wary of getting too excited about the election of Barack Obama, but I do think he’s got to be slightly better than George “I’m thick as two short planks” Bush.

As you may have guessed, I’m particularly interested in what Obama is going to do about two things: (i) the financial crisis and (ii) climate change. A more equitable global society with less risk of being obliterated by a massively destabilising climate system would be nice.
With that in mind, I wanted to post a good and rather amusing video I came across recently:
If anyone is in America, or knows anyone there, I’d be interested to hear more about the Green Jobs Act 2007 and the Green For All initiative.

hi,
I am not in the USA but I live in Nepal (south asia). We will be one of the major victims of Global Warming. We are just below big Himalayas (mountains, including Mount Everest) So, I am so much interested in spreading voice and would like to get involved in changing the world towards the positive direction. Please, let me know how can I help mother earth?
